The house of modern arts The accommodation is a traditional stone built house with three twin/double bedrooms, shower & toilet upstairs. Downstairs there is a fully equipped kitchen, lounge diner and another WC. If necessary we can provide another bedroom on the ground floor for 1/2 people. We can also provide a cot and highchair for our younger guests. We practice a non smoking policy in our house. Well behaved dogs are also very welcome. Outside there is a large garden/orchard for your use whilst you are here. The house stands on 5 acres of land with gardens and paddocks for our two Friesian horses Pleunie & Tessa  as well as Mandarin the donkey .Offers and environment Macey is situated in a rural area of Normandy , approx. 3 miles south of Mont Saint Michel, between Avranches and Pontorson. The artist Dieter Kneipp has created a retreat for artists and would be artists alike. This tranquil setting can only help to inspire and motivate anyone wishing to experience something new, to work on a subject either alone or with other people. Come along with family or friends, painters or non-painters. Rent the house just for a holiday. A course can be tailored to suit your individual interests all in the framework of what in German is called "free art". There will be "workshops" throughout the year. Taking inspiration from the magnificent landscape and architecture of Mont Saint Michel, there are many themes which are artistically very interesting, e.g. "art and food", "sea and land", "land and body" etc.. Courses are being held in both English and German. This will be a great opportunity to discover France, Normandy, the people and culture. Of course, relaxation is also high on the list of "must have" for your holiday. Prices:
